Marked by a sign and a white line, the Spook Hill is one of Lake Wales' most popular attractions. Gravity in the locale seems to take over and pull cars and other vehicles uphill. Legend has it that this phenomenon affected people on horse back as well, as their animals would struggle to get down the hill. A white line marks the spot, and people are asked to stop on the line, take the car out of gear and see what happens.
