Located on the south side of Lake Mirror Park, Hollis Garden is an award-winning, 1.2 acre botanical garden that was donated to Lakeland. One the grounds of thousands of flowers, trees, vegetables, shrubs and other vegetations. A pathway leads through the gardens, passing several grottoes, waterfalls, fountains and other areas. Barnett Family Park is located in downtown Lakeland, adjacent to Lake Mirror Park. Inside the park is a playground with rubber to soften falls, a water play area with nozzles that spray and a picnic pavilion. Throughout the area, people can see sculptures of Floridian animals.
